What are your opinions on the Paul Dianno era Maiden? I was listening to their s/t album today and think its real good.Phantom of the Opera is a classic in my opinion

he was good. I don't like his solo stuff though, except for the first Battlezone LP. That was amazing. It sounded nothing like maiden. Totally different. Raw and high energy. (then the band changed and the 2nd lp was an utter waste of shit.....)

Ive never heard his solo stuff.I think that Killers is one of the top 3 Maiden albums of all time

maiden no matter who sings will be gods

I think I prefer both Bruce Dickenson's voice and the music that they put out during his era, but the Dianno stuff is still sick. I havn't listened to Killers in a while but the self-titled is really awesome, so many good songs on there. I love Strange World and the way Transylvania melds into it, and Charlotte The Harlot kicks ass. Ahh I could go on for hours.
