New site? Maybe some day.
i liked it when they weren't a nu metal band. |
one of the very few bands with rap and hardcore that i liked. their old stuff was good. haven't heard much of the newer material. |
holy shit jake, what caliber is that handgun? looks like a .50 |
not big into the new stuff, old stuff was great. |
Theyre super talented and jazz things are really cool, but I cant stand the singer's annoying voice. They would be better if he just rapped or just shut up. their rhythm section is sick |
I thought the departed broke up. |

i love everything they did before the most recent record, which (in full aggreance with you) is BY FAR the worst case of selling out i've ever heard.
but still, the best small club show i've ever seen was Candiria and Isis back in the fall of 2000 in albany, and prettty much every other Candiria show i saw prior to the release of "what doesn't kill you....".
i still love the old stuff regardless of where they're at now, so i will say that i definately appreciate their music and the fact that they opened my eyes up to so many other methods of playing and listening to music. |
ok again youre not the dood, and yes i 100% agree the three records i have before "what doesn't kill you..." yeah complete amazed at the talent they have but as far as im concerned they cashed in trying to get on the nu-metalcore sound and completely dumbing their old sound to the point where even their gtr player quit.
i saw isis on what i think was that same tour down in dc
neurosis, puya, isis, candiria amazing show |

yes, they did. But Matt has always been the only one in the band that posted under that name...so why bother changing it? |

They can play but regardless of that fact, they still suck. |
I used to see Candiria way back when. I think the first time I saw them was in early '93 at L'Amour opening for Suffocation.
I don't like them though. Are their early demos worth anything on Ebay? I have a bunch of them.

Naw dude....it's a Ruger Vaquero in .45 Long Colt. It's a fucking cannon believe me. Close though.....50 is the next one up.
Candiria's Coma Imprint blows me away.....Listening to them with my wife right now.....
go listen to ghosts of the canal or tribes of neurot. mmm fun |
I like Tribes of Neurot a LOT. It's really quite mind numbing. But, then again....I'm a huge Neurosis fan too. It's good music to fall asleep to. |
you got to give it to them they do their own thing |

then you'd dig ghosts....its basically taking off from what tribes is as its candiria without carley doing vocals and them bringing in friends too. |
