it doesn't apply to knowledge though...perhaps the druids had inherent magical power that the scientific-minded humans of today don't possess and that could come back via some strange evolutionary path, but sadly the druidic teachings will still be lost, or excitingly recreated all over again

Druidry is very easy to bring back from the dead, sure all the teachings were oral, but who was the first teacher? Nature. Pretty much spend as much time thinking and trying to learn things about the earth and nature and you learn the things the druids knew. To become a druid it would take 20 years of intense learning and many years spent living as an animal would.

They still have this group in the UK called the circle of ovates, bards, and Druids, I don't know how legit it is but it is pretty big and old.

They are pretty muh equals. Vikings would go out and seek death, Celts would collect the heads of their enemies and mount them in their homes as ornaments.

i was referring to the actual practices and rites of the druids, it's pretty easy to determine what they believed about the world around them, but as far as ceremonies and spells and all that exaggerated jazz it'd be impossible to recreate

My irish heritage goes back to when the Celts/Vikings lived in Wexford, Ireland (west fjord).
