www.crucial.com has an online tool that will tell you what you need. If you haven't figured out for sure yet.

I built my computer off new egg for 500 bucks i got AMD 3200+ with 2.1 ghz, 2 gig ram, and nothing special for motherboard, sound or video, but its fast as hell
