If you are still using AOL in 2006, you deserve it.

Aol pulls shit like that all the time. I had AOL around 4 years ago. While I was a subscriber they sent me a book twice ($40 a pop) that I never ordered yet still had to pay for (they wouldn't let me return it). Then I cancelled the account, paid the balance in full, only to have a collections rep call me a YEAR later saying I had an outstanding balance from my AOL account. I refused to pay, saying I wanted to see it in writing (a bill, account statement, or something to show what/when the charge was for). Instead, he told me my refusal to pay was all he needed, and marked the $80 as a failure to pay against my CREDIT RECORD. Now I have a nice negative mark on my credit report over money I didn't owe for a service I hadn't even had for over a year.
