I wanted to say that I listened some kid playing ska or something and then he was like "I'm playing mr bungle and then it's time for the stressfactor!" at which point, the station went out and some really shitty music and TERRIBLE djs came on. ugh.
I used to listen to WJUL when I was in highschool, but I can't listen anymore during the day. first off cause it's the reading network, but mostly cause their DJs have no abilities onair. if they were on WUNH, they would be cast to the overnight shift.

Rev, was Rotten to the 'Core still on when you were in high school? I'd like to think my on-air charm was such that you'd remember my show!

I went down and met up with Rich at the station, we reminisced a bit and then went around the corner to see the Watchmaker/Abhorred crew...it was an old school reunion night for sure, and my head is paying the price today....ouch.

Great to hang Rich, we need to do it more often; and your show kicked! I haven't listened to Kreator in a super long time, nor Gammacide. Holy time warp!

dave: I was in high school 90-94. I listened to WUNH more. i mostly listened to late nights on um.. thursdays to WJUL.

There must have been some static when he played Gammacide, I don't remember hearing that. Great stuff though.

yeah, jul is only 1400 watts. I did part of the investigating when my station was going from 1750 to 6000.

yes but it has a killer range...larger than I would expect
