He is cool. Kinda rock star-ish but very nice nonetheless. He gave Pam and I beers in the bus when we interviewed him.

that black guy is actually really into metal. i used to see him at newbury comics in burlington all the time. i once saw him pick up rotting christ, entombed, and dismember cds. he used to go to all the old death metal shows at the palladium as well.

DESTRUCTION dudes were wicked nice in 2000, they hung out for a long time after the show just to party with us in the parking lot. I talked to Schmier in NYC on Monday as well, and he was cool, plans are for like April/May '07 return.

Brian Livoti said the old black dude is known in some circles as "Black Metal Bob" or something like that (though he is a jazzer from way back), and he just LOVES "Raaahttin' Christ!" Fuck yeah.
