yeah so we lost the internet connection and i was working on updating my resume (finally finished!) and watched the news...I usually watch a couple of minutes and change the channel..but this time i watched it all...

from a cat with feline aids in derry, to a kid from nova scotia who went to visit his dad in northern maine...shot 2 child molesters...then got on a bus to boston..and when the cops got on the bus when it arrived in south station...the kid shot himself without a word...to some pedofile in quincy, tearing our pages from american girl magazine (geared at LITTLE girls) leaving bra and panties on people's doorsteps with notes about their daughter and what he wants to do to them...there was more...but i have work to do now..i'll be back later

all weekend, CNN was all about bad things happening to kids.

if someone ever hurts my son they will be slaughtered so fucking fast...i wonder if these parents were plotting their own revenge?

you should stop watching the news. I think that it would be good for your outlook if you didn't watch it.

There's never good news on the news because misery and violence get higher ratings. And those sappy human interest stories designed to manipluate your feelings don't count as good news. They need terrible news to distract us from the real terrible news.
