I'm definately looking forward to this show....Presley is great and it's been way too long since we hung out and played with GUT. This is gonna be a really good time.

Oh and yes the original name of the band has always been Attacking Frequencies of the Sun....we just added it back. New drummer.....sort of a new sound so why not add the extended name right?

nothing against attacking frequencies, but im really excited to see gut and since ive never seen them live, presley to of course. i love the fact its no more then a 5 walk from my place.

Oh wow man...that was a while back now. I think you'll like us. Yeah I'm looking forward to seeing GUT again too. Presley is great as well...very trippy from what I remember.

..damn, wish I could've made this one. Presley always sends me into orbit.

Thanks everyone for coming out last night. The place was packed...of course it holds like 5 people but still. Thanks Gut and Presley for playing with us...saw a lot of the old crew there last night which is always cool. Now off to New York......

-1.0ev is an exposure compensation for my camera. so it was under exposing.

gut: it's been a while since I've seen these founding bostons deaders. the drumming has gotten a lot more tight. he actually reminds me of the new conifer drummer. they barely fit in the end of the club. if anyone had to use the bathroom during their set, they wouldn't be able to get by.

Attacking Frequencies of the Sun: their sound is somewhere between godflesh and um.. something else I can't think of. at some point during their set, they covered bob marley's war. that was funny, it was the only track that I knew besides the ending cover. I forget what it was now, but it was either led zeplin or black sabbath. it sounded much better than the coalesce covers CD.

presley: basically, they just play one long song that hits a middle point and the music dreamily drifts back and forth, centering itself ever 6-10 minutes. I think I compared them to mogwai before, but I've been listening to the auburn lull and mohogany a bit lately. And they definitely remind me more of that. the earlier mogwai rocks out harder than presley gets during their set. some of the singing parts remind me of the windy and carl influenced newer mogwai where they sing about spaceships.
