yeah guy! while we're on the subject, Dana had fun fixing up Griff's LTD 4 string...did Alan install a battery thing for it? Cause Dana was insisting that it wasn't stock like that, aside from it being totally unnessecary. I don't know I'm just a bass playah.

Active pickups are usually rated for 900 hours peak signal.

Basses with passive pickups that have active booster circuits are longer.

2 months is fine.

I change mine every string change and before every show.

good call, but im so fucking poor i have to scrape up change for batterys,i lucked out with these 9vs this time.... but seriously man i play well over 90 hours a week but 2/3s the time i dont plug in,i think it has to do with the pre-amp i got going on, i kept the thumb bass pre instead of using the shitty emg wang chung pre

There's no way you play that much in a week.

That's more than 12 hours a day.

I would be suprized if anyone actually put more than 20 hours of play time in a week.

Also, don't skimp on batteries.

You can buy 4 panoramic batteries for the price of one energizer, but they won't last as long combined.

My EMG equipted guitars I only haveto change the battery almost once a year.

I'd put $ down on Zach for 40 hours a week.
