Has anyone ever been prescribed any kind of sleeping pills?
I have constant insomnia and have been on a few of them (Trazodone, Klonopin, Ambien) I was just wondering what worked for you?

Klonopin is habit forming and its effects decreased quickly
Ambien gave me anterograde amnesia and hallucinations
Trazodone effected my long and short term memory

Looks like a bullet to the skull is what I need

Just take a whole bunch of different pills together and you will sleep fine

i think Klonipin and booze work well together, then you sleep for like 1 4 hours if you have the time

my friend took xanex while we were in vegas and he was in a deathlike state within a half hour. he wouldn't wake up until almost noon the next day.

Friday night I took 2 flexeril, 3 1/2 klonopin and 2 vicodin (10/500) and I just woke up now.

You slept after that?...Damn that sounds like a good time, never mind sleep.I have taken the vics and flexeril together before, never slept though...I have not taken all 3 at once but, Klonopins suck for me anyways, I usually can down a handful with no results.

I was on Ambien many years ago. That worked pretty good.I took ziprexa to help me sleep too.I now take risperdal at night.

toggletoggle post by ndeath at Jan 22,2006 12:23pm
Try tylenol pm yet? My bro says that works good when he cant sleep.Do u drink alot of caffeine? Try to avoid it at night

toggletoggle post by rotNroll at Jan 22,2006 7:34pm
Ive taken Tylenol PM before, but you build up a tolerance over time. Plus, its not such a great idea to take something that contains APAP when you dont have pain. I need something stronger. Maybe I'll just try to alternate between Trazodone and Benadryl.... My problem is racing thoughts while trying to fall asleep.

Have you found any "severe" side effects while using zyprexa or risperdal?

toggletoggle post by scoracrasia   at Jan 22,2006 7:51pm
I went crazy on zyprexa once, fuck that shit. I am on risperdal now. It works okay.

My wisdom teeth experience (which I should add is still ongoing) earned me enough pity to recieve more head this past two weeks than in the last 2 months. Shit did me in better than my percs.

I've had sleep disorders for years and I've never found a medication that works for more than a couple of weeks. exercise and weed seems to do the trick most of the time. you should stay away from antipsychotics like zyprexa, unless you're fucking nuts.

Here is an effective cocktail:
1 bowl of weed
2 beers (or more if you don't need to get up early)
1 melatonin
2 Tylenol PM or Simply Sleep (that's TPM without the T)

That usually works for me.

Well....this sucks, I saw the Dr. and he basically refused to give me anything to help me sleep. Looks like I'll have to rely on a mix of benadryl, unisom and maybe melatonin. FUCKITY!

That doesn't make sense, it's primary use is as an anti-psychotic...

What the person above said is correct about Tylenol PM: don't take it if you're not in pain. The active ingrediant that causes the drowsiness is 25MG of Diephenhydramine, which is the chemical name for Benydryl. So just take that...

Let me try this again:

There's such a thing as off label use...
