With the Bruins slim chance of making the playoffs and the Joe Thorton trade I see hockey fading around here. What u people think?

Anyone? Anyone? Bulluer? Bulluer?

Hope not. Hockey is pretty much the only sport I enjoy watching... Except for Ninja clan wars.

I think the Bruins need a new GM, and need to completely dismantle the team besides Bergeron. Maybe a new owner, too. I'll still watch them though, because I love hockey, and the only channel I get on cable that shows it is NESN.

it probably won't die out, but it has definitely lost popularity in the last few years

boston will always be a baseball town and with the sox series win and patriots being so dominant, who could blame fans for putting the celtics and bruins on the back burner when the sox and pats have been so much more successful lately? add in the fact that the bruins have corky thatcher as their gm, traded away thornton for a bag of pucks, and danny ainge's big move last offseason was brian scalabrine. what teams would you care about?

Hockey won't die out for me, because even when the Bruins suck, the Flyers make the playoffs...and then crash and burn...either way I can't win, so I'm used to it by now. And if there are enough good brawls during a game, I don't care who wins.

Brawls? Ive seen like 2 fights this year.Fighting is diminishing big time

toggletoggle post by TheHawthorneEffect  at Dec 21,2005 3:57pm
hahaha, Corky Thatcher as a GM.
