They got signed to Epitaph because they have a massive following and can push a lot of records. Punk and hardcore have always had a large crossover audience, too, so I guess I'm just not that confused about it

i read an interview where jake said that they liked the people behind epitaph and stuff like that
as far as you fail me, listen to it a couple more times
You Fail Me is completely different from what they've done before. One of the best records of last year. I think Jane Doe is a "easier" listen but You Fail Me is fucking awesome. They're on Epitaph for the right reasons on their part, and they're able to stand out on a roster of widely ranging bands. I did a large piece on them in recent issue of Maniacs and they are without a doubt a completely integrity-based band, no matter how "big" they are in an underground sense.
