.... i'm excited. it's an all instrumental project called Blue Ruin. the recording will consist of one 45 minute long track combining more structured melodic sludge parts with free-form experimentation interspersed throughout. we trying to create something that's original in the sense that each time the piece is performed, certain elements will be different. should make it an interesting studio session. it's a massive wall of sound effect with lots of phil spector-esque layering. lots of peaks and valleys dynamically. there will also be a couple of ambient and electronic tracks.
