never heard. no desire to.

blue could talk more about this,
but they listened to way too much rhapsody/opeth before making this CD.
the last CD was (from what gather) sort of a logical step from bands like hamartia.
personally, I like all the CDs, but the first one is so raw. so I probably like that best

dude...they rip off blind guardian in the new cd.

and blind guardian is sick.

where do they rip off BG? just in general sound, or more specifically in one/two songs?

And yes, BG is beyond sick.

toggletoggle post by Ionsphere  at Nov 9,2005 12:00am
all bodies they riff them off
a couple of others

i think that dudes singing is horrible though. i think his name is tommy or something...

i think they are great and have progressed alot in the technical department sice there other releases. Plus live they are amazing and the last time i saw them the pit was insane, best pit i have ever seen, blood flowed

IMHO, the live vocals have gotten better
the vocals on the CD were the best on the s/t (but the live vocals sort of sucked before they recorded silent circus.

Sick riffs as a whole...but not enough groove.

I hated these guys ever since I heard'em, and now I listen to Alaska a lot. They're really good but can get boring though so I rarely listen to entire tracks all the way through consistently. I think the vocalist is REALLY good, even live...But other than that, they were incredibly boring live.

I think this CD is their opus.
I mean you stack their new guitarist (from glass casket) and the old guy, plus the fact that they actually saw rhapsody and what else would come out?
I knew what this CD would sound like when I got an email from tommy g and the signature was:
"we saw rhapsody and it ruled"
