Nelson has decided to leave Teratism for personal reasons. It's on good terms, and he has committed to the remaining 3 shows, July 8th at DeeDee's being his last. We appreciate his work throughout the years, and as upsetting as this is, Rob, Mike, and myself look forward to the next chapter of Teratism.

the ability to play the songs on "Service for the Damned"
gear and transportation
a good attitude (both pro and fun)
no junkies or habitually unemployed
band practice 2-3x a week, at least 1 show a month
Teratism doesn't have to be you're only band, but it being so would be a plus
basically, we're 3 guys who are easy to get along with, have different lives, but all find what we do in this band important.

Not to sound bleek but we tryed out a drummer(the only one to respond)to our add...(on craigs list). I thought we had somone decent the way he talked about how much he listened to the songs....but i was wrong...great kid...but he bit off more than he could chew..and any death metal experiance he said he had...obviously he had no idea what death metal is..i would still consider throwing a beer back with him in the future...but thats all....in anycase...no reason to bump this thread any longer because the answer isnt here either....so if you want to see what MIGHT be teratism's last show(not being pessimistic...being realistic) come to the 8th!

I must add, since I have been guilty of "air drumming" (kinda like your "air guitaring"..hahahaha) to the teratism cd and at shows. There is quite a bit of blasting going on, and quick dbl bass going on. So the average guy may not be able to keep up.
I think Jay (ex goratory/compost) would make a killer replacement, its to bad he's doing something else.
Give it a little more time RB, until then we can do up the whoremastery, and I can wow you with my sub-par drumming.

although Hekseri is newly formed and not quite the Doberman's nads as the MASSACHUSETTS Teratism (maybe we're a nad and three-fifths so far--we'll grow a pair), it took us about a goddamn YEAR to find our drummer and we had more false starts (esp. on Craigslist) than we care to count.
But the wait paid off a thousand fold = Seth.
I know it's very discouraging but it's true--it's just gonna take time because your requirements, as ours were/are/and should be, are very precise.
It'll happen. Keep recording new material in the meantime. Put up flyers.

Then I replaced your ass, 3 days later and the music was suddenly 50 times faster. Pile played more shows in my first year, than you've played in your entire, "CAREER". You shouldn't be saying a fuckin word about Goratory, cuz you really don't know what your talking about. I started Goratory when Pile was going nowhere. Since then, Goratory has released 3 discs, has played all over the U.S., toured Europe & Japan. That shit started in MY basement and has grown beyond anything you could even dream of doing. And no, your mother doesn't have enough $$$$ to buy you that kind of success. You do fit into the picture though.... your failure started it all. You should get outta YOUR basement, borrow some money, and pick up any of those 3 Goratory discs, before you go running your mouth about shit you don't know anything about.
