I didn't know it was posted, I figured it was worth a shot puttin' up considering how amusing I found it. The best part is the opening line, "tickets were sold out weeks in advance" It is from the BBCNews website, so who knows the truth regarding its authenticity

I doubt it is a genuine story, but the idea is brilliant enough. I think an army of 42 armed midgets could easily take a lion, though. Two cavemen with spears could take a lion 5000 years ago. A midget fighting force worth it's salt should be able to defeat a lion.

Sihamoni was quoted before the fight stating that he felt since his fighters out-numbered the lion 42 to 1, that they “… could out-wit and out-muscle [it].”

Unfortunately, he was wrong.
