folly is playing at northeastern on the 16th. the show is free....however, it's only available to northeastern students (each student is allowed 2 guests a piece). if you want to go, let me know, ill see if i can get some people to help sign you guys in.

I went to Northeastern like, eleven years ago. They tried to book Dinosaur Jr. and COOLIO!!! Needless to say they never presold enough tickets to actually have the show happen. Go figure.

coolio cost like $50,000 for the student org SCOPE to bring and they ended up loosing like $25K on it.

hahahah i lived in kennedy last year. awful.

ps: I still don't know if I like folly... it's sort of one of those bands that they just toss every time of music together and hope it works.

didn't northeastern try to get ludacris to perform or something. i remember seeing it on the news ---

are you guys allowed to have one big artist perform each year or something?

yeah, every student pays like 100 bucks a year and all that money goes to a big spring concert. we didnt get to see ludacris last year because we were being punished for the riots (which were way more fun than the ludacris concert would have been).

photopass? i highly doubt it. it's a 'club' that northeastern owns, it's where all the kids at neu who wish they were musicians play shows. which is why im excited for this. ill see if i can find a place for you to park, and ill IM you later so you can call me when you get here.

theres a stage in the far right corner of the room, in a quarter circle....the close right corner to the door is tables, chairs and a place to order food...to the left is like a bar and dessert thing. it's nice but doesnt have much of a floor if they keep the tables/chairs up.

my school had ludacris one year. i didn't go. one of my friends tried to get wesley willis to play at the school, but the school didn't want him there.

and then he died.
