yes, for $10 you get a Berklee Sound Engineering student whose been doing home studio stuff for a few years now and recorded several bands, as well as played in bands like The Hostage Heart.

so yeah, you DO get what you pay for: A good engineer, a place to stay, good output, and free pool / San Andreas.
