I was pretty stressed out over this show...especially when at about 6:55 while I was almost to the club, Tim who's at the club already calls me and tells me that we're suppose to go on at 7:20!!! I made it there by 7, but I didn't think my band was going to find there way there. I was told by the tour manager 2 weeks ago that our slot was 8:00-8:30...I advertised this show to start at 8 and told everyone we went on at 8. There were about as many people there for us as there were for mortician at the end but it was still pretty fun! My band basically walked into the place and plugged in. I had a feeling dane was gonna have a hard time on the drumset that wasn't his especially since the hi-hat was like 6 feet up in the air and like 4 feet from the snare drum, I could tell he wasn't use to the actual 'double kick' setup either, hahaha and he only had 2 toms. Once we got going I think he did good though! Huge thanks to watchmaker for letting us use their kit,bass amp, and one of your cabs!

dimentianon: pretty good stuff from ny I guess, I wasn't really digging the guitar sound for them though, I hope our guitars didn't sound bad through the pa, heh.

watchmaker: I got pulled upstairs for their first couple of songs, but I made it back for most of their set, Their singer is pretty intense live. He told me that he was trying to get my singer to only do Highs for vocals in our music. I don't see that happening though dood, sorry! Mark told me they don't practice much but they seemed pretty tight for a band that doesn't practice much.

The middle east kicked out stacie around this time, she didn't have a bracelet. She's from NY and also doesn't have a liscense so she only has a college id and a high school id with her b-date on it and they still wouldn't let her stay in, fucking cock suckers. she's 21, and has tattoo's obviously she's over 18. WTF? A 16 year old in college too? yeah okay buddy.

vehemence: came on and just busted into their set. I'm not a huge fan of a lot of their songs, but they pretty much played all the songs I do like!

akercocke: man these guys were pretty damn sick, especially live! tim our singer left right before these guys (even though he lives down the st) and he's an idiot for doing so. awesome shit.

mortician: first time seeing mortician live as well, actually were better live than I expected. I've never been too much of a fan of the distorted bass sound but that's their thing. Zombie Apocalypse was awesome.

awesome show, sorry to all the people I told we were going on at 8, ect...Things went smoother than I thought, though I'm kinda pissed that my singer left the show after vehemence probably to go to a party or to spend money at a bar.

PORPHYRIA was badass!! It was good show, i missed the joe vs. anne battle, but the pics are pretty funny. The lady upstairs was a pain in the ass. She played with my ID for about 5 minutes, bending it in various ways, showing to others, "this dosent look real", then she started comparing it to another RI ID. Soo, can i get a bracelett, or what???

the keyboardist from akercocke was fucking intense!!!! i found it quite comical though that his keyboard was 20times smaller than the keyboard stand. the band needs to get that kid doing backing vocals or something.

my godamn head hurts. constant ringing in the ear (cause i'm an idiot and don't wear earplugs). hung over. at work. all for metal! good show. probably the best performance by wathcmaker i've seen. the blood was an extra goodie. akercocke rules. killfuckingeveryone!

Tom is the man fo setting this show up. this is easily one of the best ideas ever. granted the red sox were doing something or other last night, but who cares! it was on the TV in the back anyhow so people could watch in between bands. the attendance was a little light, but still seemed fairly strong. anyone that missed this show is dumb.

propheria*: they started late.. it seems as though a miscommunication caused them to not be there when the middle east thought the schedule should be. when I got there it was just tim running around. the guest list was a little messed up, so I heard their first 2 songs from outside. the crowd slowly filled in while they were playing. the sound was pretty awesome for their set. I would have to say that this is probably the best sounding time I've heard them.

dimentianon: they were pretty good. I'd never heard them before. some of the guitar riffs were pretty good. the drummer looked super young. I also thought the singer acted like Matrin from cryptopsy did on his first tour. they definitely had a NYDM sound and at some parts I could have sworn they might have been dehumanized.

watchmaker: what a crazy set... it started off normally and then quickly broke into chaos... it seems like brian some how cut himself on the saw while I was back at the drummer. I hope he's got a tetness shot... towards the end of the set, with blood all over and broken strings, the decended into amazing noise. playing a guitar with a saw was definitly a highlight.

vehemence: well.. I sort of kicked my gf in the eye before their set so I was mostly comforting her while snapping and singing along to vehemence. during sound check, john played some old-vehemence riffs to rile up the blood of the NH kids in the audience. Vehemence hasn't been in NE since 2002 after milwaukee metal fest. they rocked as usual. I sang along to every song (besides the one that they have a video for). man, whore, cunt, die! right at the beginning, the bassplayer broke a string.
this being the last show of the tour, members of akercocke started taking the drummers set apart during the last song. I thought for a minute it was the sound crew taking the set apart cause vehemence's time was up, but when I saw them putting shaving cream on him... I knew what was going on. the last gafaws of a tour ending. by the end, the poor drummer only had one hi-hat.

akercocke: I will admit, I'm a poser... I have NEVER heard an akercocke track EVER. with that said, their set was pretty sick. the keyboardist when apeshit the entire set. his keyboards were kind of crappy.. they looked like "toys" as dirtycrayon remarked. other than that, they were really powerful live. some times they reminded me of exhumed, others enslaved. I could have done with out some of the ballady stuff.
at the end of their set, a few members of vehemence came out on stage and messed with them.

mortician: they took forever to set up (really like 30 minutes). that made the crowd thin out a little bit. they sounded really good. finally, the samples are integrated into their live set and they sounded awesome. they started to play zombie apocalypse and I looked around for the death without weeping member, but I couldn't find him.
again, the drummer took the brunt of the fooling around. akercocke and vehemece members tp'd his set and threw towels/whatever at him. at one point, the drummer tossed one of the towels at will. I think he thought I was doing it cause he tossed the towel at me. it landed right on my camera perfectly. maybe he should have pitched for the yankees against the sox.
