Correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe killswitch engage released this cd a few months ago...

don't get me wrong, i like it to an extent, but seriously now...how many bands will sacrifice their own sound/style to sound like some other band that already has a million clones??? i remember when caliban had a distinct sound, and i thought it was great. what can you expect these days anyway...at least heaven shall burn still carries the torch.

I got really into Vent and their split, then I heard Shadow Hearts and I wasn't really a fan of it. I read a positive review of their latest
on digitalmetal but heard that it had more of an MTV2 metal sound, I'll pass.

Edit: Listened to the free song on their site, "The Beloved and The Hatred" Pretty gay.

yeah, i'd advise to just stick with they're older stuff. shadow hearts was good, but i could kinda tell they were losing their touch. if you haven't heard "a small boy and a grey heaven" yet, definitely check it out. that's their first cd, good shit. a little less defined in style than vent, but brutal as hell.

i heard that new caliban song, it was dreadful. im gonna buy this cd and then hate it, that's my plan.
