The Acacia Strain explanation, straight from the horse's mouth:

Yea, its that tree in africa thats in every setting sun picture taken on the continent. Acacia extract is used in a tons of ways and Im not suprised by the shampoo, but it's also the main flavoring ingredient that puts the "root" in rootbeer.

...and who cares if some ridiculously unknown european gore band was called Gut. Boston's Gut is not goregrind at all, so I don't think there will be much confusion. If someone gets mad that a bluesy thrash band has the same name as some obscure goregrind band then maybe they should honestly consider hanging themselves.
