Ok Al's computer is being nasty and not playing for him. He lost sound after he installed windows 2000. he said they reinstalled the sound drivers but sound never came back on. he has digital speakers too if that's anything to ya'll.
see the button on the speakers that says "on"? push that button

he needs to go into his sound icon and click on "Advanced" or "More" and click the box that says "Digital Output." That should do it. He have Boston Acoustic speakers?
