The main reason I decided to post here again was to bring attention to conversion therapy and how its a very harmful practice.

So I want to restate that again because we got sidetracked.

Anyone reading this, if you simply google: conversion therapy suicide risk

Tons of stuff will come up confirming what I said here, that it doesn't work and is very dangerous for people who undergo such treatment.

If you don't want to put trans people at risk of committing suicide, then do not advocate for such ideas. I hear way too many people make such statements, I assume it is out of ignorance.

Trans people are much more likely to live happy and healthy lives if they do not undergo conversion therapy but instead undergo treatment to help them come into their new gender identity to the degree they feel is right.
