been a big couple of weeks for true crime.

And extremely surprising...... anyone who was/is an Unsolved Mysteries kinda guy or gal will remember this one.... Lori Erica Ruff's identity has finally been solved. No name/circumstance stated yet but apparently a newspaper article is in the works. on the Maura Murray front, speculation still continues. little hints here and there get uncovered weekly. i think MM's disappearance will be solved in the next couple years for sure considering how much renewed interest there is.

shame no new info was released in the vanessa marcotte rape/murder. i really want to see that one solved. just a brutal, senseless fucking thing.

*edited to add 2 theories on JonBenet now that it's all of a sudden a thing again. i never paid attention to the case because truthfully, i find extremely affluent people abhorrent in nature in certain situations-especially these people who loved to flaunt and (basically) sexualize their child for fame and profit. i speculated without even reading up on the case and knowing the bare minimum that the ramseys hired a hispanic male (DNA found hispanic male DNA) and maybe 1 other person to sneak in the basement window, fake an abduction, and cash in on it. but something went wrong and she was killed. my new theory is basically that of what CBS was just talking about- Burke Ramsey accidentally or maliciously killed JonBenet during a late night argument and the parents covered it up surprisingly well.
