I saw Ilsa a few years ago at As220, possibly opening for Hellshock. It was right after they released that second LP, but might have been before the Hooded Menace split.

Anyway, they seemed to be having an off night. They had no presence at all on stage, but I was listening to them and thought they had really good songs. So I took a chance and bought their LP at the show - thinking that it had the potential to be really good. Such a good choice. I've since picked up their other stuff and listen to them routinely.

The show is a while away, but I hope someone posts about whether their stage presence has improved.

BTW. they have done a cool cover of Bolt Thrower's Fourth Crusade.
