This is probably a completely retarded question; I specialize in those.

What kind of equipment/pedal/etc. do I need to re-combine a split guitar/bass signal into one amp? Is it anything more than a 1/4" jack splitter, or is that gonna cause weird phase problems?

I don't even need this switchable - just my signal split (either from an A/B of just the wet / dry out of my SansAmp), run through different effects (shitty stomp boxes) and then combined, into the front of my amp.

Am I overthinking this, or is there some obscure product I need to buy? (As a bass player, I've remained blissfully ignorant of effects and signal chains until now.)
