For a lot of us who got hooked as teens, it was social pressure. You want to get all pissy about the peer pressures that start smokers up, blame the companies that started this shit a long time before I ever started. They sent free ciggarettes to GI's, used heavy advertisements on radio and early T.V., and did everything they could to start this whole chain of getting smokers hooked by using image. Don't get pissed at the smokers til you do it yourself for a while and see how addicting it is.
