Willowtip is extremely proud to announce the signing of Washington, D.C.'s MAGRUDERGRIND. The band is set to enter Godcity Studios in early January to record their Willowtip debut with famed engineer Kurt Ballou (Converge, Misery Index, Torche). The recording will mastered at Visceral Sound by Scott Hull (Pig Destroyer, Phobia, Maruta).

Immediately following the recording of the new album, MAGRUDERGRIND will head out on a European tour. The dates are as follows:

In addition to these dates, MAGRUDERGRIND will be appearing at the Maryland Deathfest in May 2009. The band has also confirmed a Westcoast tour with Phobia and Unholy Grave from June 11 - June 21st. Dates will be posted soon.
