So you're basing on the word of people who were completely drugged out of their minds.

Even if they weren't on drugs. Think of how wrong the average person today is about music stuff. Just look around the internet and you'll find a ton of wrong information about every band you can think of. And that's just about recent stuff. I'm supposed to believe your theory based on the word of a handful of guys trying to remember 40 years ago?
Show me stuff written back then or you are just making up stuff to fit your opinion.
