Dead is getting at. of course genre classification is necessary, but i don't think he's attacking genre classification, he's talking about how something like "doom" encompasses an array of styles, and above orgymf was saying that Type O isn't doom, when they are, just a different style. but i do agree when he says "if its good, then fucking listen to it". thats how i feel. it isn't necessary to like anything, like what you want to like.
