i was once quoted here back in the day
some of the folks here were gonna go out drinking at a local bar and my reply was "i'm here to make money i'm not here to make friend's, i just have to work with you and thats all"

i really said that and the few that still work here from that era still give me shit about it

theres also this thing were our big boss' try make us go to lunch with them in a conference room so they can "get to know you better" i am litterally the only persong in my division who has never gone i flat out said "no" when my superviser asked why i said
1. lunch is my time and unless they pay me overtime i will not be attending
2. are they gonna supply lunch (of course not) if they are buying i'll consider it
3.why the fuck would they wanna know me better are they gonna come to see my band (no) do they care about my band (no) my dogs (no) then why go

i am a razor sharp thorn in my boss ass belive me i cause him much grief
