Getting nervous about shows is one thing I've never had problems with, except when I was like 15 playing a basement show in my first band. After that I realized there is nothing to be nervous about. I find that if there is enough positive energy displayed by the band playing, the crowd will ultimately be more into it, even if they're not moving around. I do however get very excited before playing, so I usually move at light speed and hate when set up time takes more than 10 minutes. Then I find that I'm too energized after playing, so I don't go to bed until like 2 or 3 AM, even if I was tired as hell or sick before playing.
