the 7 string over the 6 string because I can be in B tuning and also be able to utilize the standard E tuning. Many bands have used 6 and 7 strings together. Such as human remains, morbid angel and cannibal corpse just to name a few. By the way everyone who was in STE appreaciates the influence. We didnt know we actually had an impact on kids.
