I'm a hobby rocker and proud of it. This in no way makes me less of a musician. I can't speak for every band, but when you sacrifice originality, talent, and creativity, it makes you less of a musician. I am my audience, I'm not looking to tour, I like making music. If I didn't take it seriously then I would be sacrificing everything. Hobbies can span decades.

I don't have anything aginst hobby rockers. It's just that I would rather not have them on my bills, because most if the time, they don't draw or really care to sell tickets (which waste my time). Understand? some might be able to sell tickets or really care about showing up on time load in, etc.... but I have yet to have met a band like that who I deem, "hobby rocker".

I bet you hate musicians who don't entirely care about being on Roadrunner Records because you were one of those people. You failed. So you hate others for it.
