My goodness. Yes, I agree many screenprint their own merch... how do you think they pay for their broken down vans, dumbass? MERCH MONEY!!!!

I don't know if you're trying to tell me that I'm lying or what, but bands do sell merch at shows...and they charge a reasonable amount too. 10 bucks a shirt. Can't get a better deal than that anywhere else. I also don't know where you got the impression that Goatwhore, Strapping Young Lad, and Suffocation aren't big name bands, but the point still stands that they turn this into some kind of profit scam off people who like to have fun enjoying a hobby which is exactly the kind of thing an underground touring network is supposed to be rebelling against in the first place. I'd like to see you try and do a month long tour sleeping on peoples floors(if you're lucky) and whatnot. I don't see you putting these bands up in your own house or cooking them dinner and I don't see how they have any kind of personal relationship with you just because you don't take money away from their merch sales.

You know, in some ways I'm starting to think being a big name metal promoter would rule. I could take money away from all these spoiled brat big name bands who bitch about having their soundcheck delayed a minute and having to charge less than 30 dollars for a shirt.
