Dog days... First off, tour was fantastic. Thank you to all the great bands who slayed it and the folks who helped our asses out! Just to name a partial rad band list in no particular order: Sulaco, You Will Die, Plague Bringer, Middian, the Abodox, the Northwest Psychedelic Metal Movement (u know who you are ;) ), Sean, Playing Enemy, Thunder Kings, Gorche Fock, the Wayward, OXBOW, Lions of Tsavo, Law Is Dead, Moscow Theatre Siege, Hoth, kids in Cleveland at Moe`s, the improv-grind-freakers in Denver - there are so many, sorry if I spaced your band, or forgot the name. In other Conifer news: we are about to enter the studio next week to bang out our second full length. It`s to be recorded with our great friends Marc and Gina at Bandsaw Studio in Portland, ME. A title has not been decided yet. Should be three mammoth tunes with some other surprises. More details later this summer. Jason Stewart (drums), has left the band and will be replaced by none other than... Nate Nadeau (our original drummer). Jason will be recording the full length with us. John Althoff has also left (guitar), and there are no plans to replace him. We welcome back Nate, and will miss the positive contributions made by the now former members. We are relentlessly forging ahead though. The oil tank recording will be finished this summer and the three-way split called Developer will be released. We promise. Sorry for the delay. Life has been a motherfucker on many fronts. For those so inclined, you may also view us on MySpace at www.myspace.com/conifer cheers.
