Did you notice how any popular guitar songs from that time had absolutely no amount of musical prowess? That is what I mean by people liking guitar. The fact that I can listen to a band like Avenged Sevenfold and somewhat respect it you know? I mean I don't like their personally but I can hear some of the things they are doing and say "Hey.... That guitar player practiced his guitar licks"
