i believe the whole backing to this was that the narrator/creator believes in the whole "NWO" thing(that's right, hogan, hall, and nash are taking over the world)

seriously though, it's this crazy thoory that a secret society since the dawn of time has been in the process of creating a globally policed society(similar to all those post-apocalytpic futuristic movies like equilibrium) so that they will finally have full control of the world and all the freedom will be theirs

as far-fetched as it may be, it's still entirely possible...i've heard people proclaim that the higher-ups in washington are actually ancient reptilian shapeshifters, and looking at the bush's i can certainly see why
