I think the recognition they got was more because they were all female, not because they were outstanding or original. Because they weren't. Just a mediocre doom death effort. Demonic christ by contrast, which is NOT all female, is much more original. I think recognizing female musicians simply because they are the minority in the metal realm is worthless, but of course those that are talented should be given praise and recognition.
