Spiritual Blighting is considering expanding our lineup for live performances later this year. We have an album of material written that is likely to satisfy fanatics of Deathspell Omega, Funeral Mist, Glorior Belli, Malicious Secrets, Malign, Merrimack, Ofermod, Ondskapt, and Watain.

Any instrumental position can be accomodated. You will not need to write music, and these positions will be temporary ( as I am leaving for Europe at the end of next year and reforming the band with a different lineup ), so we do not demand nearly as much of your time as other bands might.

If you are an atheist who wants to use Satan as a metaphor, if you enjoy epic hymns to nordic frostbitten ravengates, if you think Venom invented Black Metal, if you are any kind of environmentalist or animal rights activist, if you are proud of the USBM scene, or if you are mourning Dimebag, we are clearly not for you. Consider forming your own life metal band instead, complete with myspace.com page and cellular phone ringtones.

Otherwise, let His essence consume you, take part in a pure Black Metal band and gain the recognition you deserve. Although the seriously interested can contact me for samples of our material, you should know by now if you belong.
