But that's the point. Faggot has always had a connotation of weakness.

A faggot in actuality is a bundle of sticks used as kindling wood. People in europe refer to ciggarettes as "fags". Long before uncloseted homosexuality became the norm, faggot was used in slang to refer towards anything small, weak, brittle, or diminutive.

When ignorance prevailed, homosexuality was considered weakness. Therefore the labeling of faggot. If you want to feel better, than don't call people that like homosexual sex faggots. However, you need to also learn yourself how to remove that connotation in your OWN mind.

Really, why DID you assume that the "everyones gay" idea was homophobic? Literally read, the slogan means "everyone is happy and having a good time". We all have stereotypes and connections we have to learn to think around. It just seems to me that you're so blinded by those of others, you've completely missed your own.
