I recieved this email this morning:

chris,
helvete night is officially canceled at obriens. there will be no
show next week. I’ve had too many people asking and suggesting
the night is some sort of white power night and too much bad vibes
about it already. no one on the staff at the club wants it to continue,
and it’s not the type of notoriety the room cares to be a part of.

I will personally see that this organization who started this rumor and got us cancelled pays. You know who you are. Now I would like to say Hail to all those who made this last year a good one for metal. I met some fantastic people during this time. I thought Boston was ready for a night like this... I guess I was wrong. Metal has no place in popular Boston and never will. As a result HelveteBoston.com will officially be shut down...
