I never understood the hype. He sounds like a rabid dog barking into the mic with an occassional scream thrown in to mix it up. There's one thing to be guttural and indecipherable, it's another to be indecipherable when the vocals aren't even going along with the music. He sounds like shit. Cryptopsy's newer material is a lot more precise and intricate. They need someone who is professional and menacing, and while DiSalvo was a random pick for that band, he turned out to be a perfect fit for their overall sound.
